First look inside the model unit of ODA New York’s Dumbo condo

The former industrial building in Dumbo, Brooklyn is now a 74-unit condo

With just a few months left until the first residents start moving in, developers Slate Property Group and Adam America Real Estate have released photos of the model home at 51 Jay Street, their 74-unit condo building in Dumbo.

For the condo, the developers hired ODA New York to convert the former three-story industrial building into apartments spread out over six floors. Sales have been underway for more than a year now, and almost all of the building's condos are already in contract save for a couple of penthouses, and a few other two and three-bedroom units.

Apartments here range in size from studios to four-bedrooms. The cheapest listed unit was a studio asking $875,000, which is already in contract. The priciest, is a penthouse currently asking $5.995 million.

The project came about after the developers purchased the industrial building for $45 million from Rabsky Development in 2013. Amenities in this building include a landscaped central courtyard, a rooftop terrace, a children’s playroom, and a fitness and yoga room.
