Sales have officially launched at Renzo Piano Building Workshop’s anticipated Hudson Square condo. The firm, also behind notable projects like the new Whitney Museum and Midtown’s New York Times building, has designed a dual-tower glass structure for the site with 115 apartments, marking Piano’s first foray into the residential market in New York City.

And at that, the building will be appropriately opulent. Apartments at 565 Broome SoHo—the development technically falls just outside of its namesake neighborhood— will range from studios to full-floor, four-bedroom apartments with prices starting at just under $1 million and ranging to over $20 million for the yet-to-be-released penthouses and duplexes. Currently available apartments range from a $990,000 studio to a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom apartments asking $6.135 million.

According to a press release announcing the sales launch, several of the building’s apartments will come with "enormous private terraces with 25-foot private, saltwater pools and outdoor living rooms that flow seamlessly from the interior living spaces." Private pools: the ultimate accessory for the rich, second only to robot parking (which this building also has.)

Apartments will include six-inch plank white oak floors; kitchens with custom-designed white oak cabinetry and Basaltina countertops, Zucchetti fixtures, Blanco sinks, and Miele appliances; and master bathrooms with Calacatta Caldia marble slab walls, freestanding tubs, heated floors, and custom white oak vanities.

The building’s 17,000 square feet of amenities will include a 55-foot saltwater lap pool, a gym and accompanying sauna and steam room, a media room, a kids playroom, and a landscaped terrace. Some apartments will look onto a glass-enclosed landscaped lounge with a wet bar.
