'Humans of New York' photographer scores a duplex next to the High Line

Andrew Stanton has found himself a two-bedroom apartment in West Chelsea

Humans of New York creator Brandon Stanton has nabbed a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in West Chelsea along with his fiancĂ©e Erin O’Sullivan, the Observer reports. The ground-floor apartment is located just half a block away from the High Line and comes with a spacious garden in the back.

The photographer and New York Times bestselling writer paid $2.45 million for the co-op, which is just a little over what the previous owners were asking ($2.4 million). The apartment itself is a garden duplex and is located in a charming townhouse that was built in the 1850s. The building is located on a street that was once known as Millionaire’s Row, according to the brokerbabble.

Some of the standout features in the apartment include a wood-burning fireplace, a double height living room, a stone patio in the backyard, and apparently a laundry that’s large enough to be converted into a sleeping area.
