Alec Baldwin scouts $16.5M High Line-hugging penthouse in West Chelsea

The actor has reportedly visited the apartment at least three times

Alec Baldwin and his expectant wife may be making the move from Greenwich Village to West Chelsea. The rumor mill is churning and according to Page Six, the couple are fancying a $16.5 million penthouse at 470 West 24th Street near the High Line.

The 30 Rock actor has allegedly made at least three visits to the apartment and according to a "source," Baldwin even went as far as speaking with residents, asking them about the building and how they like it.

The co-op apartment is approved for combination of two penthouses to create a full-floor abode with nearly 5,000 square feet of space that offers five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The home is illuminated with natural light that’s invited in through the oversized casement windows and other features like ten-foot high ceilings, and white oak floors contribute to the airy feel. The large chef’s kitchen comes with an eat-in dining area, there are multiple wood-burning fireplaces, and a huge wrap-around terrace that gives views of the High Line, Hudson River, and Empire State Building. Sounds like a nice amount of space for the growing family as they get ready to welcome their third child any day now.
