Robert Duffy is still looking for the West Village townhouse that's just right
Marc Jacobs co-founder and president Robert Duffy just can't seem to find a West Village townhouse that is just right for him. The Federal Style townhouse at 62 Bank Street that he picked up in 2002 was too big. The skinny house he traded it for at 35 West 12th Street in 2011 was too small. And it turns out the four-story townhouse he picked up just down the street at no. 62 in 2013 wasn't the right fit either. Duffy has listed the "incomparable home of distinction" for $17 million just three years after forking over for $10.25 million.
