Prospect Park South Victorian gets a stunning makeover, wants $3.25M

The home was in not-so-great shape just a few years ago

A lot can happen in a couple of years. Take, for example, the rambling Victorian house at 82 Stratford Road in Prospect Park South. It first hit the market back in 2014, and at the time, it was … well, a bit of a mess. It reappeared in 2015 mid-renovation, but it still wasn’t in great condition. (See for yourself.)

But now? Well, the renovation was completed, and the home is gorgeous. Per the brokerbabble, the "breathtaking original detail … has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur." Those original details include wooden trim throughout (which has since been re-stained, of course), coffered ceilings, a gorgeous fireplace with the original mantel, and stained-glass windows throughout.

It’s gotten modern upgrades, of course: the oak floors are new, as is the kitchen (with custom cabinetry that matches the wood detailing throughout the rest of the home), and the bathrooms on the upper floor of the house. The deck and the backyard have also gotten a makeover, though without photos of those—or, really, the exterior of the home at all—you’ll have to take the broker’s word for it. It's asking $3.25 million.
