5 apartments to check out in the West Village this Sunday

Plan a trip to see these West Village homes, ranging in price from $730,000 to $2.6 million

Welcome to the weekly Open House Tour, because who doesn't love a little real estate gawking? This weekend, we're seeing what's on the market in the West Village, including rare 19th-century co-ops, loft-like studios, and more.

↑ How often does one get the opportunity to live in a co-op that has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places? This 1,500-square-foot apartment is nestled within a former 19th-century horse stable and is filled with exposed brick–we’re talking brick-clad walls, archways, and even round windows. The two-bedroom home also has beamed ceilings, a sunken dining room, and wood-burning place. All of this will run you a cool $2.65 million.

When: Sunday, October 2nd (12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.)

↑ This small loft-like studio on Bank Street comes with a fairly big price tag– $750,000, to be exact. It’s only 500 square feet and is a normal fridge short of a full kitchen but has enough pre-war charm to make up for it. The renovated apartment has high ceilings, exposed beams and distressed brick walls, and four large windows that invite in tons of sunlight. The best part? Maintenance is supposedly just $19 (!!) a month (either a typo or a blessing in disguise).

When: Sunday, October 2nd (12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.)

↑ A beautiful but pricey two-bedroom duplex co-op on Barrow Street is asking $2.65 million. The main floor has oversized windows, arched frames, built-in shelves, and a spiral staircase that leads to the master bedroom. The private garden has a large enough capacity to entertain quite a few guests.

When: Sunday, October 2nd (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

↑ After a little more than two months on the market, this one-bedroom condo on West 14th Street has embraced a slight price chop and is now asking $875,000. The triplex offers high ceilings, hardwood floors, and a large kitchen.

When: Sunday, October 2nd (2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

↑ On West 12th Street, a one-bedroom apartment embodies that of a turn-of-the century home. The co-op is a strange mashup of dated decor and a few modern amenities. Perhaps it just needs a little sprucing up. In any event, the space is asking $730,000.

When: Sunday, October 2nd (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
