Extravagant Chelsea triplex with indoor pool seeks $45,000/month

You’ve never seen one like this before

Soori High Line’s pricey condos aren’t the only Chelsea apartments to sport private pools. Behold, a Chelsea triplex with just that, now available for a startling $45,000 a month.

This is no ordinary domicile. The two-bedroom, four-bath apartment is less a house and more a tropical living experience. "Step inside," urges the listing, "and be greeted by the sound of your own private waterfall cascading into the glorious 30 foot long/eight foot deep saltwater swimming pool."

From there, "descend the sculptural floating staircase" into the apartment’s double-height solarium bedecked in tropical flora. Other first-floor amenities include a fireplace, a wine fridge, and a poolside wet bar. The apartment’s parlor level overlooks the pool, but also features more standard-issue features like a dining area and a kitchen.

The master suite is decked out with a fireplace, a curved glass solarium wall that ushers light in and, in the bathroom, a freestanding soaking tub that "acts as both a work of art and a relaxing retreat." The other bedroom doesn’t look too shabby either.

The rather unique triplex is one of three units at 232 West 15th Street. The Greek Revival townhouse also has a pair of markedly less unusual floor-throughs, both of which are, sadly, without pools.
