Ritzy waterfront condo in Sheepshead Bay launches sales from $525K

The building comes with a 45-foot salt water rooftop pool

It might be all the way out in Sheepshead Bay, but it’s certainly promising to be just as luxurious as new condos in Manhattan. Sales are now underway at The Vue Condominium, an eight-story building across from the waterfront that has 58 apartments with prices starting at $525,000.

Apartments here range in size from one-to-three-bedroom units with the smallest one at 720 square and the largest at just under 2,000 square feet. The project came about after developer, Rybak Development purchased the lot at 1809 Emmons Avenue for $13 million in 2014. The site was once home to the El Greco diner, and Sheepshead Bites first reported the sale back in 2014. Earlier this year, they reported that the project was well underway to meet its scheduled 2017 completion.

It looks like the developers didn’t skimp on the amenities here either. There’s a rooftop deck with a 45-foot salt water pool along with lounge chairs and sun beds, and an 82-car parking garage, that comes with the option of charging stations for electric cars.

Plans at this building also call for a substantial retail component—nine spaces to be precise—with six of them able to accommodate restaurant tenants. The developers are also building a 9,000-square-foot public plaza that will come with bicycle parking.

Several of the apartments here are already in contract, according to StreetEasy, and priciest one currently listed is a three-bedroom asking $1.098 million. Each of the apartments have private outdoor space, and the penthouse here will be offered up for $1.695 million. Residents will be able to start moving in sometime next year.
