Tour NYC's landmarks in just four minutes with this colorful, kinetic video

You’ve never seen the Empire State Building or the Brooklyn Bridge like this before

If you need a reminder of why, exactly, living in New York City is so wonderful, set aside four minutes and watch this extremely cool video. (h/t Gizmodo) In just four minutes, it offers a breathtaking tour of some of the city’s biggest landmarks (Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge) and tourist draws (Times Square, Columbus Circle, One World Trade Center). But thanks to the fact that it was shot in ultra-high definition resolution—8K—the color is sharp and bright, making New York City look lovelier than ever.

Here’s what the videographer, Kyoung Sop Choi, had to say about the stunning shots:

When I was in New York for producing timelapse in a cold winter time, I encountered streets bustling with nightlife, non-stopping lights and subways, ferries, stream of people etc. The gigantic city, to me, was a big melting pot of all sorts of colors. So I tried to express the colors.

Consider that mission accomplished. Check out the video below:
