See what $1,400/month rents in neighborhoods like the Upper West Side, Flatbush, and Elmhurst

↑ This incredibly peculiar studio along the Upper West Side is asking $1,440/month. The "lofted" sleep space is right above the tiny kitchen and right above the front door (how can that door even open?). And the so-called "private" bathroom in what was clearly a SRO is located in the building’s hallway.
↑ In Washington Heights, a tiny studio is going for $1,400/month. The seemingly tight space has been gut-renovated and comes with brand new kitchen appliances, exposed brick, and a modern bathroom.
↑ $1,400/month rents you this modest one-bedroom apartment in Flatbush. The space isn’t huge but it’s workable and does get a decent amount of natural light.
↑ Live in a building that touts "24/7 white-glove doorman service" as one of its amenities, for just $1,400/month. A large studio along Grand Concourse in the Bronx features an expansive living room with a sleeping alcove, a large (but dated) kitchen, and two spacious closets.
↑ Just off of Woodside Avenue, a sunny one-bedroom in Elmhurst, Queens wants $1,400. The bedroom accommodates a queen-sized bed, and the kitchen is actually spacious.
↑ Another large one-bedroom, this time in Bushwick, wants $1,400/month. Though the many windows only give you a view of the neighboring building, there is still lots of natural light, hardwood floors, and two closets.
