Crawford and husband Rande Gerber will reportedly live above their pals The Clooneys
Last week word leaked that beautiful people George and Amal Clooney reportedly purchased a condo at One Hundred East Fifty Third Street, Norman Foster and Aby Rosen’s luxury Midtown condo. (They reportedly didn’t even buy the $65 million penthouse, just a regular ol’ high-floor multi-million dollar residence. Stars—they truly are just like us.) And it seems the Clooney’s won’t be the building’s only well-known residents.
Page Six reports by way of an anonymous source that George’s BFF and business partner Rande Gerber and partner Cindy Crawford bought an identical place one floor up. "The bromance continues," the source says of the Casamigos Tequila partners.
Clooney and Gerber have plenty of experience as neighbors: the pair used to own twin villas in Mexico, until they sold them earlier this year for a reported $100 million.
The move to the Midtown tower is convenient for everyone, says Page Six. Apparently, Clooney and Gerber’s tequila brand has been "expanding its presence in New York," while Amal has human rights and other world-moving issues to attend to at the nearby United Nations.
