COOKFOX’s 54-Story, J&R-Replacing FiDi Tower, Revealed

Will rise next to City Hall

Work is already underway on the Financial District's latest tall residential tower, and YIMBY has uncovered the first rendering for the project. Set to rise on Park Row, close to City Hall, demolition work is currently talking place on four commercial buildings, that will ultimately be replaced by this 54-story tower.

One of those buildings is the former J&R flagship store, which has now been nearly demolished as per YIMBY. The owners of the store are partnering with developer L+M Development for the residential tower, which will include 108 condos.

Amenities announced for the COOKFOX-designed building include a shared terrace, playroom, gym, and lounge. The project will cost about $492 million to build.
