West Village Co-op With Adorable Shared Courtyard Asks $799K

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment spans 650 square feet

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

One of the best features of this one-bedroom apartment in the West Village is its access to a private courtyard, that was much touted in a New York Times story published this past April. At 650 square feet, it’s not all that big all things considered, but it tries to make up for that with all its finishings. The garden level apartment features an open kitchen with an antique styled fridge, butcher block countertops, and a new stainless steel oven. The bedroom fits a queen sized bed and comes with built-in bookshelves, which is rather neat. And the bathroom has a soaking tub. The apartment is priced at $799,000 with monthly maintenance charges at $1,675.

It’s part of a five-building co-operative that runs along the corner of West 11th Street and Washington Street, and a studio at one of these buildings was recently on the market for $675,000, but has since been snapped up.
