Chelsea Penthouse With High Line Views Gets a $7M Price Chop

The penthouse atop HL23 will now seek only $15.995 million

The penthouse at the High Line-hugging HL23 at 515 West 23rd Street was recently listed at an ambitious asking price of $23 million. Today, that price has reduced to a humbler $15.995 million. The new asking price is still far from a bargain as it seeks over $4 million more than the purchase price paid by hedge funder Pierre Lagrange when he bought the condo in 2012 for around $11.288 million.

Formerly handled by the Corcoran Group, Sotheby’s International Realty is now in charge of selling the three bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom 6,000 square foot duplex. Amenities include a 40-foot glass room, an 1,100 square foot wrap terrace, two retractable walls, and a pretty spectacular view of the High Line.
