The luxury Brooklyn condo has a stroller valet, among other schmancy amenities

What used to be a McDonald’s on the corner of 1st Street and Fourth Avenue in Park Slope is now 251 First, an 11-story luxury mid-rise building, which launches sales as of today. It joins a small number of other luxury buildings, including The Baltic and The Hendrik, rising nearby. This particular building will have 44 condos, with two-bedrooms ranging in size from 990 to 1,095 square feet; three bedrooms that'll go from 1,308 to 1560 square feet; and penthouses, the prices and sizes for which have yet to be disclosed. Asking prices for the non-penthouse units range from $1.3 to $2.3 million.

Of course, amenities include all those typically found in new luxury buildings: lobby attendants, a fitness center, and a rooftop lounge with breathtaking views. And for kicks, 251 First has an amenity not often seen or even heard of (outside of Brooklyn, anyway): stroller valet, thus eliminating the need to find a place to park your Bugaboo. Other amenities include bicycle storage, children’s playrooms, lounge rooms, and an exclusive pet grooming station. Additionally, buyers will get to a 15-year tax abatement on their plush pads.

The building's architecture and interiors is being handled by ODA New York, and similar to its other works, the firm has opted for a Tetris-type design for their schematic at 251 First.
