Extell's roster of pricey residential buildings—One57, 70 Charlton, One Riverside Park—is getting another addition: The firm just launched sales at The Kent, a 23-story condo building on East 95th Street. The development was formerly home to two smaller walk-up buildings, and in comparison to Extell's other projects, it's relatively modest: apartments begin at $2.45 million, and the expected sellout is a mere $535 million. ("Modest" is relative term here, of course.)

In order to differentiate itself from Extell's other projects, the firm gave The Kent an Art Deco-inspired look, courtesy of architects Beyer Blinder Belle and designer Champalimaud, which created "interiors that echo the classic elegance and grandeur of the Upper East Side," per a press release. What that means: the exterior is made from brick and limestone, while the interiors are appropriately fancy, with huge windows, high ceilings, and a stately, rosewood-covered lobby.

The building also comes with Extell's "full-service lifestyle" package, which includes access to common areas (a kids' room, a "garden salon" and fitness center, etc.) as well as a stroller valet and a pet room. The smallest apartments are two-bedrooms, and the units range in size from 1,285 to more than 5,000 square feet.
