First look at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners’s design for 1 Beekman

The mixed-use building will offer 31 apartments ranging in size from 900 to 2,900 square feet

New details for yet another residential tower coming to the Financial District have just been revealed, bringing new renderings for the 335-foot tower headed to 1 Beekman Street to the surface, reports YIMBY.

The Urban Muse development project will be designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and will rise 25 floors while offering 31 apartment units, 3,200 square feet of retail space, and another 4,500 square feet of commercial space. The apartments will range from 900 to 2,900 square feet a piece, though as it stands, there’s no word on whether the units will be condos or rentals.

1 Beekman will have a glassy facade framed with metallic accents. The structure will rise opposite City Hall Park and adjacent to the recently opened 5 Beekman, or Beekman Residences, where a 51-story tower offers 68 apartments designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen.

1 Beekman is anticipating completion in spring of 2018.
