UES Condo Once Owned by Yankees Icon Jorge Posada Returns for $9M

The full-floor condo in Robert A.M. Stern's Seville last sold in 2012

Back in 2012, former New York Yankees catcher Jorge Posada put his 5,500-square-foot Upper East Side condo on the market for $11.5 million; the listing then got a few price chops before finally selling for a slightly diminished $9.5 million.

Now, the apartment is back on the market with an even lower price: The New York Post reports that its current owners are asking $8.995 million for the four-bedroom pad. The full-floor unit has quite the floorplan: a master suite takes up basically an entire wing of the apartment, with two dressing rooms and a master bath; there's also a gallery, a den, a breakfast nook, and an elevator that opens right into the apartment.

Posada bought the apartment back in 2003, but after he retired from the Bronx Bombers in 2012, he decamped to Miami with his wife.
