High Line-Hugging Rental Towers Will Ask Upwards of $5,000 For a 1BR

The Lalezarian Properties-developed project comes with 375 apartments

A three-building project developed by Lalezarian Properties, around the High Line, will likely start leasing its units sometime in August this year, The Real Deal reports. One-bedrooms there are likely to cost anywhere between $5,000-$6,000.

The Avinash Malhotra-designed project features a total of three rental towers — a 35-story building, which will also be the tallest residential tower on the High Line, and two smaller 12-story apartment houses.

The apartment complex will contain a a total of 375 apartments — a mix of studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. About 75 units will be set aside for affordable housing. Amenities for the project include an indoor pool and a gym.

Construction was moving along swiftly on the buildings when we last checked in with the project this past February. Leasing for the shorter towers will likely get underway in August, followed by the taller tower sometime in October.
