The East Village apartment features four bedrooms and one bathroom
The Good Wife star Alan Cumming is looking to sell his four-bedroom apartment overlooking Tompkins Square Park, in the East Village. The apartment is located on the third floor of a redbrick row house that was built in the mid-19th century, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported on the sales listing.
Cumming along with his husband Grant Shaffer purchased the co-op for $1.695 million back in 2005, and are now looking to make $2.2 million on the sale. In 2013, they purchased a nearby townhouse for $4.65 million, and have spent the last few years restoring it.
That will be ready sometime in September, Cumming told the Journal. Some of the standout out features in his East Village apartment include a wood-burning fireplace with an ornate carved wooden mantel, a formal living and dining room, and wide-plank hardwood floors.
The Good Wife wrapped up its final season this past Sunday, and Cumming is now busy shooting the Billie Jean King biopic, Battle of the Sexes.
The sale is being listed by Noble Black and Jennifer Stillman at Douglas Elliman.
